't down on 10, it is in downtown los angeles. bank robbery suspects. four suspects accused of robbing a bank near the magic mountain area. two of those suspects along the way have now jumped out of the car. this thinking down about three different freeways now it is on certain streets in downtown. speeds have been cropped upwards of 110 miles per hour in a black bulbul. down the 110, hitting about 70 miles per hour. the traffic downtown, he hit congestion, decided to get off, and now, as you can see, at one point there were a dozen patrol cars chasing this guy. they want this guy badly because this is an armed bank robbery, and there is believe that this guy would be on the inside. with at least one suspect with him. clearly they are paying very close attention to him. you see a couple of times that the cops had an opportunity to do a pit maneuver that we have seen so many times. in this case, not knowing if weapons might be there, they are airing on the side of caution. we know that there are three or four different television help helicopters that are following this and it appears t

of los angeles. neighborhood yesterday as some bank robbers on the run started throwing cash out of the when dough of their suv. one woman called it a neighborhood stimulus package. she watched people scooping up the bills. look at that. it all came to an end. when a pickup truck blocked the suspect's car. they surrendered. the third high-speed chase in los angeles this week alone the you might remember an elaborate bank heist in east l.a. last week. the suspect is now under arrest. a group of robbers kidnapped the bank manager from her home. strapped what turned out to be a fake bomb to her. then they forced her to rob money from her own bank. turns out the suspect arrested, uh-huh, it's the manager's boyfriend. he has already posted bail. and he has been released. very interesting. >> strange one indeed. >> you know what else is interesting, the weather right now. actually quite nice in some areas of the country. showers in the four corners of the southwest. thunderstorms across texas, also from oklahoma city to saint louis and chicago. showers from savannah done to miami. yet

fleeing in a stolen black volvo suv, one of the safest vehicles on the road. los angeles county police caught up, an 80-minute 40-mile chase in south los angeles. during the pursuit, two bailed and then were quickly fault. the remaining two decided to get the neighborhood involved, win over the people. win the battle for public opinion by throwing money out the window. first just a few bills tossed. eventually the crooks were throwing handfuls of cash into the streets, making it rain from a v mog vehicle. as the suv sped into the narrow residential neighborhoods of south l.a., the suspects became almost strategic, they waited until crowds gathered on the curbs before throwing a another wad of crash, sending police swerving. in the end, traffic got the best of them as it always will in l.a. they pulled the men from the car and arrested them. onlookers swarmed the scene with the crowd swelling to hundreds in minutes some locals hailed the robbers as robin hoods. captain mike parker did not agree. he told an nbc affiliate, i can't imagine they did this for the good of the community. good
